Similar to the Bible (which is often referred as the "Book of Instructions Before Leaving Earth), the I Ching is called the "Book of Changes". The Old Testament is the original Hebrew Bible, written at different times between 1200 and 165 BC. The I Ching is a Chinese work of divination and prophecy, dating between 10 and 4 BC. It consists of 64 hexagrams with commentaries for each of them.
Approach the I Ching with reverence, sincerity, and good intentions⦠and you will receive the Truth of the matter. Such as with the Law of Karma, when one shows disrespect, one shall receive 3X the return of that disrespect.
There are 2 methods to consult with the I Ching: Yarrow sticks and Chinese coins. For my I Ching readings, we shall toss 3 Chinese coins (6 times for each line) in order to complete the drawing of your hexagram(s). There is a possibility in receiving 2 commentaries, depending on your question.
"The Master said: The I Ching what does it do? The I Ching discloses things, completes affairs, and encompasses all ways on earth - this and nothing else. For this reason, the holy sages used it to penetrate all wills on earth and to determine all fields of actions on earth, and to settle all doubts on earth." -From the Ten Wing commentaries
Please do not seek to test the I Ching with trivial questions such as Wagering and Gambling... or what will Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner have on your bodily functions?
Please also note, the I Ching can not answer "YES" or "NO" questions.
The FUTURE is NOT set in stone because of many known and unknown factors influencing these changes.
With the I Ching, you can ask more than once on the same topic such as, "What will my life look like with Potential Spouse #1?... and What will my life look like with #2?" (Please note, we will need to toss the coins in TWO separate readings to receive a hexagram for each asked question. This will require TWO 15-minute sessions to complete.)
However, it is NOT recommended to ask the same question TWICE/THRICE in the same reading or on the same day, in the hopes of getting a "better" answer... because it was NOT what YOU wanted to hear. Whilst the Bible stresses the importance of "importunity" in Prayer... the I Ching has little patience of repeating Itself.
Take this example, if the I Ching gives you a square peg, then know that you cannot force it into a round hole. So instead of using brute force, PLEASE reflect on the answer given, take the necessary course of actions, and allow some time for the shifts/ changes to develop naturally.
You may RETURN in future days or weeks, to ask that same question AGAIN and to reflect on any NEW insights/ developments given to you at that time, by the I Ching.
Every tool has a Spirit energy and personality of Its own.
For example, when I use the Tea Leaf deck (even with all my pleadings), the cards LOVE to fly/ float everywhere and I have to chase after them every now and then. I am unable to control this, because THEIR signature energy is that of swirling freely around in a Tea Cup. And because there is NO Tea Cup big enough to contain Them... well, you get the picture! The I Ching may not be your cup of Tea and that is totally OKAYβ£οΈ

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz was a German philosopher, mathematician, and scientist who developed the binary number system. This is the language of modern computing which is still being used today. He wrote the binary code by referencing to the hexagrams and cosmological ideas found in the old texts of the I Ching.
