The Halo/ Aura is UNIVERSALLY evident throughout religion.
Greco-Buddhist Art
One of the first representations of the Buddha, Kushan period, 1stβ2nd century AD
Gandhara, Pakistan: Standing Buddha (Tokyo Museum)
The early Church Fathers expended much rhetorical energy on conceptions of God as a Source of Light.
A more Catholic interpretation is that the halo represents the Light of Divine Grace suffusing the Soul, which is perfectly united and in harmony with the physical body.
In the theology of the Eastern Orthodox Church, an icon is a "window into Heaven"
Through which Christ and the Saints in Heaven can be seen and communicated with.
The halo is a symbol of the Uncreated Light (or Grace of God) shining forth through the icon.
Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite in his Celestial Hierarchies
Speaks of the Angels and Saints being illuminated by the Grace of God, and in turn illumining others.
Here in this illustration of the Tribute Money (Matthew 17:24-27)
Lord Jesus and nine of the Twelve Apostles are depicted with
"FLOATING" disk haloes. (By Masaccio, 1424, Brancacci Chapel)
Would that also explain why a King wears a crown of gold... or a Hero wears a crown of laurels to depict a HALO?
Or that during a Jewish prayer, the men would traditionally wear a kippah. yarmulke, or skullcap
In order to have a closer and clearer connection with the DIVINE?
π EXPANSION OF THE CROWN CHAKRA
EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US, CARRY THIS DIVINE LIGHT INSIDE.
The colors of this Aura came through as being UV blue? But it is actually WHITE, as seen in the original photo.
This was taken in a blacked-out booth with Matt's back against a wall.
I BELIEVE, back in the Biblical days of Lord Jesus (and Lord Buddha)...
People COULD see halos and auras with their naked eyes which helped them to discern
Whether a person was an Angel or a Holy Person, walking amongst them.
